2012 Transition TR450
The TR450 is a World Cup proven race bike that excels in a variety of conditions and inspires confidence from the first pedal stroke. The careful attention to rider position and frame geometry create perfect weight balance for improved stability and responsiveness. The TR450 has fully adjustable geometry to suit different rider preferences and course conditions; adjustments include bottom bracket height and head angle as well as chainstay length & wheelbase.

The neutral spring curve makes suspensions setup a breeze. No custom tunes necessary and plenty of room to adjust the suspension feel for rider preference. The TR450 suspension has a supple top stroke and good bottom-out control resulting in awesome traction and predictable handling on the trail. We made sure the TR450 was easy to setup and maintain, reliable and built to shred whether you’re riding a World Cup race track, Whistler Bike Park, or your local session trails.

2012 Transition Blindside
We call the Blindside a Big All Mountain bike designed to be a versatile big travel bike. With a front derailleur setup to get you to the summit and up to 190mm of adjustable rear travel so you can take on any downhill. The Blindside’s versatility is quite surprising as the bike can pedal extremely well, is nimble on singletrack and jumps and can eat up rough DH style trails. The suspension utilizes a large 2.75″ stroke shock for low leverage and features a slightly progressive leverage rate curve that gives excellent consistent leverage throughout the travel allowing the natural progressiveness of the shock to ramp up perfectly. The frames features our own custom formed tubeset with internal gussets and a slimmed down rear triangle with internal cable routing for a clean look.

2012 Transition TR250
The TR250 is the little brother to our world cup proven TR450. It’s not afraid to go fast in gnarly terrain, but the TR250 is a more nimble handling bike, with tighter geometry for a more playful feel on the trail. With settings for 180mm or 160mm of rear wheel travel, adjustable head angle and bottom bracket height as well as chainstay length, the TR250 is a truly versatile downhill bike. Designed with bike parks like Whistler in mind, this is the ultimate shuttle and lift bike for someone that cares more about styling jumps than split times. The TR250 build is spec’d with a single crown fork, but the frame is fully dual crown compatible. The size small also makes an excellent downhill race bike for shorter riders.

2012 Transition BottleRocket
We classify the BottleRocket as the original slopestyle bike that set the standard for a new generation of bikes. We didn’t realize this would become one of our most popular and versatile bikes that can handle almost any type of riding. Our customers use their BottleRockets for almost every type of riding and who can blame them. The bike is just at home in the air doing tricks as it is railing singletrack or shredding Whistler trails. The BottleRocket geometry created a revolution for a new style of bikes to come and to this day we haven’t changed the magic numbers that we feel achieved perfection. The combination of shorter chainstay lengths, lower BB and the perfect head angle all work together to create a ride that is one of our funnest bikes. Responsive in corners, easy to manual and bunny hop and complete stability in the air all add up to one of our most versatile geometries we have ever created. Our full length seattube with a gusset allows you to get the seat up when need to get to the top.

2012 Transition Covert
Raced by Andrea Bruno to win the 2010 and 2011 Italian Super Enduro championship; the Covert has been proven in the toughest Enduro races in Europe. If you would rather call it an “all mountain” bike, that is fine with us too, since we haven’t found a mountain yet that didn’t make us smile when riding a Covert. Designed to be the most versatile bike in our lineup, the Covert would be our choice if we could only have one bike.

New for 2012, the 12mm x 142mm dropouts increase the strength and stiffness of this well proven frame. But don’t worry, if you still have a 135mm wheelset that you can’t convert we have optional 10mm x 135mm dropouts as well. We now offer two different build kit options with either 1×10 or 2×10 drivetrains and two different travel adjust forks for even more options on this crowd favorite.

Total frame weight sits at a claimed 5.2lbs. Tech notes include the bike’s tapered headtube and 12x142mm thru-axle rear, as well as some very nice frame protection in the form of molded rubber sections on the downtube and chainstay.

MRP Lopes SL Chainguide

Brian Lopes’ signature chainguide by MRP is about as basic as you can get. It fits ISCG-05 bottom bracket tabs and works with a single chainring. The boomerang is laser etched with graduations that allow users to set up the upper and lower guides for each available chainring size. This takes the guess work out of mounting up the system. Long and short bolts, and a number of washers are included so your guide will fit any bike and MRP’s instructions are clear and concise. MRP’s Lopes SL chainguide costs around $135 USD. MRP

As simple as it gets, the MRP Lopes SL chainguide is easily assembled using guide references for various chainring sizes. The finished product is strong enough for hard driving downhills as long as you are willing to run without a bash ring to protect your sprocket. Lightweight and simple is what the Lopes SL guide is about.

Pinkbike’s Take:
If there was ever a no-worries single-ring chainguide, this is the one. The MRP Lopes guide does not have a bash guard, as it is intended for Super-D and aggressive trail applications where a rider may want the simplicity of a single chainring without the worry of derailing a chain. In this respect, the MRP guide does a wonderful job. Its lower guide employs a sprocket-type roller, which will make noise in the extreme right or left cassette gears, but it is acceptably quiet for XC/trail applications and doesn’t feel draggy like many roller guides do. If you like simple and durable, MRP’s single-ring Lopes chainguide will do just fine. – RC

MRP Long Range Patrol
Designed to minimize chainslap and noise, while ensuring your chain is always right where you want it, the LRP is the best shiftable chain guide on the market. Featuring broad compatibility, and our new “Party Crasher Lite” bash ring, it also sports a new raised profile on the arm which prevent the chain from dropping off the granny ring and into your frame. That’s right, no more chewed up, mangled bb shells. With the LRP installed, your bb shell will remain pristine.

MRP Micro Mini G2 SL Chain Guide
The all new Mini G2 SL is stronger, easier to set up, and 30% lighter than it’s predecessor. From the top to the bottom, it has been redesigned. A more compact, lower profile upper guide reduces noise from chain slap while improving fit on bikes that have tight clearance tolerances with frame members. The lower guide is more compact, lighter and stronger than previous models. Our patented skid is tapered and relieved in multiple areas to provide the lightest, most durable, and best fitting bash guard possible. In short, there is material where needed, and not much where it is not. The backplate has been redesigned to reduce weight and add stiffness. It also features laser etching to aid in setup and identify which mounting standard you are holding in your hands.

MRP Mini G2 Steel Chain Guide
Developed by request from OEM customers, the G2 Steel uses the same polycarbonate parts from the existing mini G2 Alloy series and combines them with a steel backplate in order to offer a lower price point that performs exactly the same as the top-end alloy guides. Our plan is to offer the mini G2 Steel in ISCG and ISCG-05 models, but not with BB-mount. You will see this guide specified on several global bike brands for the 2011 model year.

MRP Podium Chainring
A high quality, long lasting, lightweight chainring designed to work perfectly with chainguides or single speeds.

MRP S4 Bash Guard
MRP started with a clean sheet of white paper and redesigned every single part to be lighter and easier to install and set up. It uses a full bash guard so that impacts are transferred to the cranks and not the frame. Some riders prefer a full-bashguard system for this consideration, or for reasons of style.
