Hayes Stroker Gram Rear Brake 2011
The Stroker Trail and Carbon were already tremendously capable across a range of applications, but we knew we could make an even better brake for weight-obsessed cross-country racers and pedal-up/ pedal-down all-mountain types. The result is the Stroker Gram. What sets the Gram apart from all the other models in the Stroker family is the removal of non-structural material from the master cylinder (confirmed by finite element analysis), leaving behind a form that is as strong as it is sexy. We’ve also dressed up both the master cylinder and the caliper in titanium hardware, and thrown in our lightweight aluminium-backed pads. Sure, there are lighter brakes out there, but none match the Stroker Gram’s combination of weight, power, modulation, serviceability, durability, and value.

Hayes Stroker Trail Brake 2011
The Stroker Trail improves on the Ryde in a number of ways, beginning with an indexed, tool-free reach-adjust dial that makes setup a snap. The caliper features an adjustable banjo for tight, snag-free hose routing, plus Hayes’ signature tool-free pad removal. The Stroker Trail also boasts a greater hydraulic ratio than the Ryde, for enhanced stopping power and modulation. No wonder the Stroker Trail has already been ridden to numerous World Cup championships.

Magura Marta Raceline SL Brake 2011
A reminiscence to the legendary neon yellow MAGURA Raceline rim brakes which left its mark on the Worldcup events in the wild 90s of the last century. Now with the irresistible Marta. Unbelievably powerful, limited (600 sets worldwide), unique. Of course with the featherlight and awesome STORM SL rotor.

Magura Marta FR Grunge Green Brake 2011
Finally a worthy successor of the legendary Louise FR. Marta FR – the new benchmark for all who do not see any limits when it comes to mountainbiking.

Hayes Stroker Ace Brake 2011
The Stroker Ace features Hayes’ first four-piston, forged mono-bloc caliper and our biggest pads ever, giving the Ace tremendous heat management capabilities. We’ve also designed a longer lever for increased leverage at the bar. Mated to the proven Stroker master cylinder, this makes the Ace our most powerful brake ever, while advancing the already unmatched Stroker modulation. At a system weight of 427g, the Ace trumps all the other gravity-oriented brakes in the deck.

Shimano XTR Trail Disc Brakes M988
Riding comfortably at speed requires an unconscious, intuitive confidence in your machine. It requires knowing that whatever conditions you come across your brakes will be ready and able to deliver reliable control in any situation.
Say hello to XTR Trail brakes, and say goodbye to compromise. The integration of Servo-Wave brake-boosting technology into an XTR-level brake generates gobs of lightweight stopping power (125 percent of the previous XTR benchmark, to be exact) that can be precisely rolled on and off with single-finger effort—leaving a better grip on the bar for charging through the gnar.
With industry-first full ceramic caliper pistons, radiator-fin-backed brake pads to shed performance-sapping heat, these all-new brakes maintain cool, quiet performance under fire.
As the most powerful and most controllable XTR-level brake of all time, XTR Trail absolutely assassinates wide-open descents with uncanny consistency, delivering more confidence than ever before.
The new XTR Trail lever delivers big power. As the first XTR lever equipped with Servo-Wave, riders can precisely control 25 percent more power with highly-adjustable and responsive one-finger braking. When coupled with the XTR Trail lever, the new forged one-piece caliper delivers a balance of light weight and power that resists performance-sapping heat better than ever before thanks to an industry-first full-ceramic piston and optional Ice Technology radiator brake pads

Shimano XTR Race Disc Brakes M985
Underpowered brakes lead to defensive riding technique and, ultimately, to slower lap times. Enter the new XTR Race brake, which encourages racers to attack technical downhill sections with confidence, leaving the competition squealing and squawking in the dust.
How? First off, they produce 110 percent of the power of their predecessors while shedding precious grams at the same time, so they’re as viable a race-bike pick as ever. Throw in ergonomically re-engineered lever pivots and XTR Race lays on that power with single-finger effort.
But power is pointless if it can’t be maintained. Heat build-up is the enemy of any brake system, stock aluminium-backed brake pads and the industry’s first full ceramic caliper piston all help dump heat and maintain consistent power.
The key factor for racers is confidence—the confidence to win, and the confidence to lay off the brakes, knowing they’ll be there when they’re needed, every time
With ten percent more power than the previous XTR brake, the sleek new XTR Race lever has been ergonomically redesigned for a versatile fit on the handlebars, superior feel at the fingertips and unsurpassed function on the race course. When coupled with the XTR Race lever, the new forged one-piece M985 caliper delivers a balance of light weight and power that resists performance-sapping heat better than ever before thanks to an industry-first full-ceramic piston.

Shimano XT Disc Brakes M775
New XT disc brake, a new level of performance and controllability, features high power braking. “Engineered for the way you ride”. With the same concept to as XTR, new DEORE XT is born.

Shimano XTR Disc Brakes M975
The original XTR component group revolutionized off road performance with a never before seen level of quality and precision. Mountain biking has evolved and the XTR group has grown but it has never outgrown its original design philosophy of delivering top-level performance in a lightweight, beautifully-engineered package. The next generation of XTR raises the bar again-reduced weight, increased stiffness, and improved durability combine with innovative new features to deliver the ultimate riding experience.
At its heart, XTR is still pure cross country performance however, with a distinguished new appearance and unprecedented options; XTR delivers the performance to address your needs. Whether you are a World Cup-level cross country racers or a mountain biker that puts a high value on performance, weight savings and reliability, XTR is for you.
Caliper:
Shimano’s new disc brake calipers retain Shmano’s signature control through superior modulation. The BR-M975 retains an opposed two-piston design while reducing weight: The one – piece design is more compact and very stiff which results in a precise and efficient disc brake design. The titanium back plate on the new XTR brake pads are 12 grams lighter than current steel pads. Durability in the pad is also improved by 50%. Use intarnational standard calipers for the ultimate in weight savings to achive the following rotor choices: 160mm / 180mm for the front or 160mm / 140mm for the rear.

Lever: Possibly the ultimate disc brake levers offering awesome control and modulation. Choose the type of handlebar you want to use. The brake hose does not get in the way even with a very narrow handlebar.

Shimano Saint Disc Brakes M810
Shimano’s very first hydraulic disc brake offering was a four-piston system, but everything since those first Deore XT brakes has been two-piston. For 2009, though, Saint has gone back to a four-pot setup. Like the venerable XTs, the Saint calipers feature dual-diameter pistons resulting in one pair contacting the rotor slightly before the others to improve modulation. The brake levers feature the same Servo Wave design found on the existing XT group, packaged into a really quite funky-looking black and gold design. Tool-free reach adjust, bite-point adjustment and a sturdy lever blade all feature.
The new brakes promise a remarkable 50% more stopping power than the current Saint brakes (already no slouch in the coming-to-a-halt stakes). We’ve only had a chance to do a couple of laps of a car park on them, but they’re certainly eye-popping performers – the same amount of finger exertion that would bring you to a brisk halt on XT is the fast route to Endo City on Saint. They’ll take a bit of getting used to, but once you do you should be able to look forward to endless stop-ability.

Shimano SLX Disc Brakes M665
The SLX Disc Brake System offers 20% higher stopping power than its predecessor (Deore LX BR-M585). The system also features improved ergonomics, direct cable routing, and tool-free reach adjustment. The Servo-Wave brake levers offer superb power and feel.

Shimano Deore Disc Brakes M595
High-performance components for comfortable trekking. Development concept blends “Smooth, Ridelight and Tough” for ease and reliability.

Shimano LX Disc Brakes Dual Contol M585
Light action, comfortable and responsive, M585 dual control system offers a pro-level command platform at an unbeatable price. Known for its durability and long term value, Shimano LX continues to be the components of choice for the price conscience, enthusiast.

Formula R1 Brake 2010
Go faster with better brakes. It’s a concept we never really grasped until we fell in love with the Formula Oro Puro brake. It represented the pinnacle of braking performance offering an unparalleled combination of premium modulation and stop-you-dead-in-your-tracks power. With oodles of power, and supreme control, we slowed down less in corners, and had to work less exiting them. And at 341g for the system, it was light and it was sexy. It brought together the best of all worlds.
