2016 Pivot Mach 429 Trail
The greatest trail bikes do everything well, no matter what or where you ride, and Pivot’s new Mach 429 Trail raises the bar for amazing bikes even higher.
Our goal when designing the Mach 429 Trail was to create a new category of trail bike – one that takes advantage of the best features of 29 and yet maintains the performance characteristics that make you forget about wheelsize and, instead, translate to the “best-ride-ever,” every time you ride.

We produced many iterations of this new design, tweaking angles and measurements with each generation of prototype and ride testing every version until we created the perfect formula. The result? A bike with the incredible pedaling efficiency and small bump compliance of the dw-link® design, a slack front end and a short back end that is fast, flickable, and energy efficient.

To complement this new 29er formula, you’ll find Boost™ 148 spacing, our own hollow core, internal, high compression carbon molding and the obsessive detailing you expect from Pivot. Effortless trail bike handling, incredible power transfer and precise cornering are all yours, without compromise, in the perfectly balanced chassis of the Mach 429 Trail. It is the perfect choice for your next ride.

2016 Pivot Mach 429SL Carbon
Racing is a new game.
The half pound lighter Pivot Mach 429SL Carbon is the bike that you need when the course tests both your engine size and your handling skills. Dominate in any event with the newest version of our award winning 100mm 29er – a perfect combination of incredible racing efficiency and trail-worthy technical prowess.

The space age chassis drops over 1/2lb (226g) via the use of leading-edge carbon fiber and our proprietary hollow-core, internal-mandrel process. This coveted production technology enables us to create best-in-class frames with the “lighter, stiffer, stronger” qualities that put the Mach 429SL Carbon at the top of the list.

To achieve a huge reduction in weight and an increase in frame stiffness, our engineers looked for every possible advantage via optimizing the composite materials and lay-up structure in the 429’s huge, box-section downtube and bottom bracket area. From the tapered head tube to the highly-specific oversize rear triangle tube sections, nothing was left untouched when we made the Mach 429SL Carbon frame the lightest 29er chassis – with the best power transfer – available today.

For those seeking the top of the line in components and compatibility, the Pivot Mach 429SL Carbon is only the second production mountain bike in the world to be fully Di2 integrated (the Pivot Mach 4 Carbon being the first). Featuring Pivot’s Cable Port System, internal routing for any component is easy to install and maintain via large, easy to access ports and interchangeable covers. Riders have the ability to switch between a variety of cable routing options, allowing for the cleanest possible installation of wires, batteries and cables. Rest easy knowing that no matter what components or gearing you choose, now or in the future, we have you covered.

2016 Pivot Mach 4 Carbon
The Pivot Mach 4 is the bike that started it all.
From the racetrack to the trail, there has never been anything that has performed like the new Mach 4 Carbon. Now in its 4th generation, the Mach 4 Carbon rolls on 27.5” wheels, features 115mm of travel*, and introduces the next generation of race/trail geometry—all paired with the lightest full-suspension frame we have ever made. Whether you are a pure XC racer looking for something nimble, with the acceleration of 26” wheels and the rolling speed of a 29er, or a trail rider that wants something fast and responsive yet stable, the Mach 4 Carbon has you covered.

The dw-link® suspension has been tuned to provide instant acceleration with hardtail efficiency, while delivering the incredible climbing traction that all our dw-link equipped bikes are famous for. The short chainstays, spacious top tubes, and the incredibly stiff carbon chassis all enable you to achieve your fastest time on the climbs. On the descents, the Mach 4 Carbon comes alive. With ultra-stable front end geometry, a low BB height, and 115mm of travel, you can tackle some of the roughest trails with ease; cornering like the bike is on rails and slicing through turns like a Ginsu knife! But we didn’t stop there.

The Mach 4 Carbon is the first Shimano Di2 compatible frame ever developed, featuring an internal battery mount in the down tube and all the required ports for clean internal routing. If you are not running Di2 and prefer a more conventional set up, the Mach 4 Carbon has the cleanest cable routing in the sport, with ports for full internal routing (including dropper post), full length housing and options for 1X, 2X and Shimano’s new M9000 Side Swing front derailleur.
